DIARY

1/4/2001 - 5.00pm
We're going to Singapore!!! My mum hasn't been there for over 30 years so we're going back with her to see her family.. Malaysia is also on the itinery. I can't wait. Check out Lonely Planet.

18/1/2001 - 7.03pm
Over christmas lots of money was spent. We also saw our mates from back home. Amongst the topics of conversation was the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Also, also, Candida's sister has been going on about New York 'cos her and her boyfriend are out there on business at the moment. So now we have a few more places to consider going to instead of Sydney. Obviously having promised my cousins, Ed, Viv and Cynth we would go and see them after a bit of a high of the Love Parade we really should still try and go. Exams are kicking in now so a bit of quiet time to sort a job and some more cash out in a few weeks and hopefully everything should be back on track.

7/12/00 - 11pm
O.K. Eddie came up with another top idea, make our own sangers etc. that will cost us about 1 quid each per day which could allow us to go out and get pissed every night!! if we wanted to :) I've just added a currency converter link as well just to remind me how great the Pound is. I'm wearing shorts now, (a) my room is so hot it feels like I am already in Sydney (good old Uni accomodation) and (b) its pissing it down outside and I got soaked on my way back from a meeting. Borrowing one of Ed's cars will save us a bit on travelling around as well as being much more fun especially with some top singalonga music on the sound system. Suggestions for a soundtrack please!

6/12/00 - 9pm
I've been hammering out a spreadsheet to work out how much this jaunt is going to cost, each. I wish I'd listened to my mum when she said "Do you realise how much its cost us to come here? Hmm?" Over a grand just for 4 weeks! I really can't believe it, and that isn't even counting accomodation which we are hoping to blag for free.

I sold my car to Olly, very sad to see it go, what a lovely machine.

6/12/00 - 11am
Looking for flights on the net, found a few good offers, most around £500. A few companies say they've got 'em for £380 or so but I haven't contacted them yet. Got an e-mail last night from Ed-Alexis to offer accomodation. He's my cousin from Sydney who I met for the 1st time in 12 years last year at the Leeds Love Parade.
