HELP! Overview Marks is an Internet Bookmarker. It replaces the favourites / bookmarks menu on your web-browser software with an Internet based system, much like Hotmail allows you to read your e-mail with your web-browser. There are many advantages, I guarantee you. Central page Accessible from any computer with Internet access Doesn't get erased when you format your hard disk / when your computer crashes You can share your bookmarks with your friends Make notes about your favourite sites (to remember why you bookmarked it!) Keeps track of your ultra-favourite ones There are probably more advantages, but thats plenty. Features The reason new things are made is because the old ones were rubbish. Marks was created because all the others were rubbish. It was also made because it had to be the best. To be the best it has to have features, ones which people want to use and that are easy to use (otherwise people don't want to use them :). Personal Login Customisable web E-mail button Categorisable bookmark management Click tracker to put your most used bookmarks at the top (can be turned off) Public / Private for individual bookmarks to allow selective sharing Keep notes about sites you visit (also available as a printable page) Use Marks as an E-mail address book (using the mailto: tag) NO POINTLESS BANNERS! (this website is so useful, the owner will pay for it all! subject to change) Fast loading pages (minimum of images and efficient code, it depends on the server congestion of course) Available in Widescreen or Tallscreen™ for big screen browsing (coming real soon) On-line help / E-mail help support Create an Account The 1st thing you have to do is choose a username. If you choose one that has already been used then you've got to choose another (kind of obvious). Choose a password *v. important* Type it in twice just to make sure, then type in your e-mail address (WE DON'T SEND YOU ANYTHING UNLESS YOU ASK, don't worry, its just in case of emergency. If you want you can type in your web e-mail URL for the E-mail button, but you don't have to. If
